Four Wing Chairs in Black and White

These 4 different chairs all got a matching black and white treatment with contrasting piping. These included two blue chairs, a green reclining wing chair, and a plaid reclining wing chair. Three of the chairs went white and the fourth went black. The legs were also repainted in coloured lacquer.

I forgot to take "before" photos of the 4th chair (the second reclining wing chair) but I took one or two in-progress photos as I was taking the old fabric off.

Bergere and Ottoman - Blue and White Floral Print

This is a lovely chair that we redid and the client also wanted a matching ottoman made for it. Unfortunately this was another piece that left the shop before I could take photos, but I do have photos of the completed ottoman.

The chair frame was also refinished to a dark brown, and with the same fabric.

Vintage Sofa - White

Here is a very nice simple sofa that was in need of new upholstery, as well as new foam. Almost all the foam in this sofa was very soft, or falling apart. The owner chose to have the piece redone in white cotton. The legs on the sofa were also much too short, and we replaced them.

Before:

The sofa was originally specially made (or ordered) for a client in Ottawa. As an interesting side note, most of the frame on this sofa was solid cherry, which is a wood rarely used for upholstery frames.

An in-between photo, showing the deck being installed.

Finished sofa.

Headboard & Room Divider - White

Here are two small projects, both of which were for the same client. One is a simple upholstered headboard, and the other is a 3 panel room divider.

Room Divider

Before. This was covered in some kind of greenish gold burlap, with gold tacks oddly spaced around the edges (so they wouldn't hit each other). I didn't take proper "before" photos, so these are what I have.

Since light passes through burlap too easily, the inside was lined with old newspapers.
