Bergere and Ottoman - Blue and White Floral Print

This is a lovely chair that we redid and the client also wanted a matching ottoman made for it. Unfortunately this was another piece that left the shop before I could take photos, but I do have photos of the completed ottoman.

The chair frame was also refinished to a dark brown, and with the same fabric.

Modern Arm Chair - Yellow-Gold with Polka Dots

Here is a simple arm chair. It was still in perfect shape, with a nice fabric, but the owner wanted a change.

Before: (note, the ferns are purple velvet, but the camera didn't pick it up too well)

Chair completely stripped down.

Pair of Easy Chairs - Chinoiserie Navy Toile

Here are two simple chairs that Pierre had done years ago. The client wanted something new, and since these are now being used in a Travel business, she thought the Chinoiserie (oriental) toile was both beautiful, and appropriate. This project was done in August 2014.

After!

To better match the new fabric, Pierre decided that we should lacquer the legs in an almond colour, which turned out beautifully.

Pair of Upholstered Arm Chairs - Royal Blue

These two chairs were fairly new, but one chair was lightly soiled, and the owner wanted to change the colour scheme. These two chairs also went with a loveseat which will be posted next.

Stripped down:

Pierre and I didn't like how they had attached the foam at the front, since it left a bit of a hollow, so this area was filled-in with cotton.

Sofa Chair - Bold Stripes

Here's a "blah" to "eye-catching" transformation. The owner of this chair wanted a new fabric to better match her colour scheme. The chair was still fairly new, so it needed no repairs, other than a few touch-ups to the wooden legs.

After!

Notice that all the stripes match-up. They continue from the tops of the arms down the side panels, and they are matched on the back, pillow, and front (as well as down the back panel).

I like the curved bottom rails on the sides (a nice detail not used often enough on chairs).

La-Z-Boy Recliner - Dark Blue-Grey

Here is a fairly typical La-Z-Boy recliner. The chair was in very good shape, and the owner wanted to refresh it with a new colour.

During our reupholstering, we also changed the seat foam.
